Quality Our Foundation

Quality was at the forefront of our initial vision to create Welmed and today is the core of our Mission and Operating Principles and the underlying focus of our daily operations. Our Equity Partners and the entire Welmed team have extensive experience in managing quality processes, measuring performance and implementing continuous improvement plans.

We understand our customers have unique product requirements and our organization is structured to support these needs. As outlined in our Mission and Operating Principles, quality is at the cornerstone of everything we do!

Our Dedicated Quality Team & Tools

Today, we have five full-time inspectors in China in addition to our dedicated, full-time Director of Quality & Regulatory Affairs.

Additionally, we have invested in software tools to help manage tracking customer usage, inventory levels, open purchase orders, and allow us to manage the 3-4 month lead-times that are required in this business.

Due to our depth of experience and focus on quality, in addition to Sourcing ability, we are able to supply commodity and specialty items to some of the US' largest medical organizations.
